Hi, the few times I have had a problem, my rewards points were always reissued.
I rarely find deals available for convenient store pickup due to other “walleteers” getting to the goodies before me.:thinking_face
You can order for delivery and use points but need to hit the $45.00 mark or find a great chat agent that may wave the delivery fee. It never hurts to be polite & patient.

Insurance won’t give a rattsa$$, you’re not dealing with anyone that cares.
Have you tried pleading your case to Costco directly? I would hope that someone would reach out to you in this situation.

I was just in my local grocery and Snap’d are on sale $2.89 but even looking at the offer online is not clear to me. I’m confused.

It only took 20 minutes of searching to find out how to contact C/S, deal with two agents (not understanding half o what they were saying but they were friendly. I got a refund & also keep the cords.
