I’ve been to Party City but never bought anything. I suppose the store is (now was) a product of its time. They had a really good selection of party balloons.
Variety Wholesalers thought 200 to 400 store and a few distribution centers were worth something. They will be the new owners and keeping the Big Lots name for those stores. They’re even retaining a lot of those stores’ employees.
