I was able to do bottom right, and Daily Trivia.
I could not figure how to do wish list at bottom left.
It seems I should be able to do wish list at least once during the promotion.
Is that correct?

What seems foolish is limiting their audience.
It has been a few years since I did programming but the following seems a better idea.

1. Use modular programming for all app features.
2. Have screens in app use the modules.
3. New versions of app will use older features (if they are to be retained ) as well as newest features.
4. Older versions of app will only use older features.
5. If a feature is no longer available use a module that states “This feature is no longer available, update to latest version to use all currently available features.”
6. Do not FORCE the update.
7. Users who keep using older version might end up with a crippled app with few features working but will not feel abandoned and that redbox does not care about them.

Today when I try to use the Redbox App installed on my iPhone 4S running IOS 9.3.5, the app is forcing an update.
The installed app will not work anymore and I get the message forcing the update.
The latest version requires IOS 10.0 or later.
The iPhone 4S CAN NOT support IOS 10.0 .
I tried to get help using chat on redbox.com.

The recommendation was "Please contact your phone provider to further assist you with your concern."
That means buy a new phone.

Since the iPhone 4S CAN NOT support IOS 10.0, by forcing the app update, Redbox is abandoning users who can not install IOS 10.0.

Based upon the response in chat, it appears that Redbox does not care.

It requires a paid transaction but I suspect using a $1.25 off code and paying $0.25 for the rental will still earn 500 points as log as you login and use the code at the box.
