Please note that if you want one-piece, “frameless”, or “beam”-style blades, you need to choose "Select Perform". The "Balance" model looks like a beam blade, and is marketed as a “hybrid”, which “combines traditional wiper blade and beam wiper blade elements”.

I guess that’s true, in that it looks like a beam blade from five feet away, but is physically a traditional blade, with plenty of joints, hinges, and gaps for snow and ice to pack into.

If anyone is curious, Windex blades are manufactured in China under license from S.C. Johnson, Inc., by Winplus North America, Inc.

Not sure what’s going on with this link. Another Phatwalletforums.com member says that it is expired. I was able to open the link, complete the (rather lengthy) registration process, and create an account. FWIW, mine came in today. Popped in the magenta cartridge since the original had run out and the printer had quit.

Ten seconds to switch it out and I was back in business. I printed the same full page photo as I had yesterday, and it looked perfect.

Doesn’t sound like a small company.

In fact, it sounds big enough to know to take some simple steps to prevent duplication of the coupons, if giving some extra product away during a promotion was going to be a major concern for them.

per my handle… formerly for 20 years owned an auto diagnostic center in NJ. You get what you pay for in the auto biz. never heard of Windex making wipers. Actually some Chinese co. probably stole the name. As the previous poster mentioned… they squeak. That’s because the rubber is cheap. Found a Whole Foods and ventured in for a couple of these in Chocolate and Cookie & Cream flavor.

In terms of the experience…you know you’re not eating ice cream or even light ice cream. Still, not terrible considering it’s made from nuts and berries or whatever.

For what it’s worth, I’m told that it’s a good “deal” on the Weight Watchers point system, so if you’re using that, and there’s a WF not too far off your beaten path, might be worth running a few coupons off on your printer and stocking the freezer.

@dangeruss If I had to guess, I’d say that Newegg is taking part of RI’s Sales and Use Tax reporting requirements out of context.

It’s common to require retailers to report and remit sales taxes monthly, but to require individual taxpayers to do so seems like overreaching.

OTOH, if you had told me a few weeks ago that a retailer the size of Newegg was going to turn over historical customer data to an out-of-state government agency, when they knew that said agency had no power to compel them to do so, and it would almost certainly result in the retailer’s customers being taxed, penalized, and possibly audited , I would have said that seemed like overreaching too. Yet here we are.
