For clarification, this is SKU #550048761, and it is, in fact, a 2-pack of the one gallon Rotella jugs. A Google search of this SKU turns up exactly one result, a listing at Advance Auto Parts. Some Connecticut stores, maybe half of them, have it in stock at $59.99. Here’s what it looks like:

I can’t find it on Autozone’s website at all, or at any local stores. Can you provide a SKU, a receipt, or something with a stock number on it? I just got back from visiting three Autozone stores in southern CT, and none of them stock the case of two one-gallon jugs of Rotella T-6. They all have single gallons for on sale for $22.99 (regular $29.99), and single 2.5 gallons on sale for $54.99 (regular 64.99).

So the 2.5 gallon Rotella T6 you linked to is ringing up $19.97?

The link you provided is for one 2.5 gallon jug of T-6 at $64.99. I can’t find the 2 x 1 gallon T-6 anywhere on Autozone’s site.

Was it actually the 2 x 1 gallon cases you found for $19.97? Both products do have rebates, but I don’t know whether the 2.5 gallon jugs are on clearance.

UPDATE: It appears that all tires have to be available for same day in-store pickup for an order to process (disregard that shipping-to-store biz that Sears shows, e.g. available by Sept 5, etc.). Sears left hand, meet Sears right hand.

I have had similar problems applying promotions when ordering Sears.com tires for delivery to a store.

FWIW, I was able to phone the customer service call center. They placed the order for me, the promo was applied and the tires were delivered when they said they would be. YMMV!
