I’m lucky, I guess, that I didn’t get “upgraded” and am still just Premier with 5% monthly purchases as long as the 5% amounts to $5 or more in a particular month. My account is still in the name of my former business. Now I’m an Independent Contractor, using a lot of toner and paper, so the account is still for both business and personal purchases. I make sure I spend at least 1K a year in order to qualify for the 20 cartridges a month, mostly by getting the paper and doing the rebates. I then trade it to my dentist for credit on my bill. Thanks for the heads-up as I’ll have to keep an eye on my account to make sure they don’t sneakily “upgrade” it.

Luckily I belong to the Quad Readers Club and get 20 Forever stamps every other month for reporting on catalogs and other mailers I receive most days. I believe they are not accepting applications for new members at this point, though. I use online payment most of the time, but there are a few things I prefer to pay with a check by mail. And the stamps are also used to send out birthday, Christmas, holiday, retirement, just because cards throughout the year.

It stinks that they are limiting to only mobile phones since neither my husband nor I have a smartphone that will accept texts. I do have a Kindle Fire Tablet - do you think that would count? Or does it sound like you’ll have to accept a text?

Thanks, OP. A $5 savings over their regular cost, and free shipping for me. I like the ones already shelled, but for putting out at holiday time, the unshelled ones are better as people don’t just grab a handful and gulp them down, instead they have to slow down and do a little work to open the shell first.

Hi, FMB1. Just signed up and got my fingers crossed they’re not out of codes. Never got one for the last offer of the color-changing lights.

Never received a code for these although I responded to the email immediately, so I’m assuming they ran out of codes by the time I learned of the offer. Do they send emails to a list of members as soon as something is available?
