Don’t kid yourself, the repugnants NEVER had empathy. They claim to be theists of one sort of other, but in truth their only god is how much cold hard cash they can put and keep in their pockets. They have been out to quash Social Security since it’s inception by FDR some 80+ years ago. ACA? Forgetaboutit! Empathy is something you feel for another living being. Their only relation to other humans is how much and how long they can use us to enrich themselves. We are merely worker ants to them and once we become too old or to sick, we are no longer useful to them and the sooner we are gone, the better.

Many years ago I watched the late Mario Savio give a speech in front of Sproul Hall at UC Berkeley. And I believe it may be time for this sort of peaceful protest again.

comrade spanky’s first wife, Ivana, said he kept a well worn copy of Hitler’s Speeches on his bedside table (probably the ONLY book he’s read more than the first paragraph). Hitler was infamous for his racist rants. If you pay attention to his rallies you’ll notice that the more racist his screed, the more histrionic his base’s behavior. If you could magically remove all racism from his repertoire, I believe even his base would see him as the cheap grifter the rest of us know him to be.

Just a heads up about possible problems with absentee ballots (probably too late). I live in the DFW area. I mailed my ballot today 11-01-2018. The USPS clerk told me they were having a problem with the Tarrant Co. ballot envelopes because the return addresses with bar codes were printed way too low and the auto readers were mistaking it for the mailing address and returning to sender. She advised me to use a marker to completely cover the bar code. Which I did. So be warned to watch for this.
