Sounds like you inherited someone else’s nightmare (the factory either repackaged it without repairs or performed a sub-par repair).

I’d return it ASAP rather than risk wasting hours on a potentially un-repairable lemon and/or missing the return window.

Problem. I’ve had it for nearly 2yrs now. I really thought it was that I hated W10 so much. I knew that W7 would be gone one
day. I really hadn’t thought much of it 'til I upgraded the W7s to W10. My BF’s grandson got a full ride Computer Science at
North TX in Denton, so when he has time he can probably tell whether to write it off or not.

I’m using PW right now from an Android TV Box. You simply put the PW URL into whatever
mobile browser you use (mine is firefox, but Chrome or a generic would work just as well) then when PW loads you bookmark it to easily return later. I think Opera would be a good choice because the home screen has visible bookmark icons. You can put a quarter in my tip jar.

Agree, anything is better than nothing. Search YouTube for "diy quarantine mask"
for simple instructions to make a wearable mask from paper towels. Remember,
a mask is also to keep YOU from spreading the virus even if you are asymptomatic.

I saw this question and took you off my ignore list to give you some information.
Until a few weeks ago my reply/quote looked exactly as you described.
But then suddenly it changed to a much simpler to use format.
Don’t know if PW changed the interface or I unknowingly changed it myself,
but here is the way it looks now and every edit action can be done from this
single page. Click on picture to enlarge.

That is zen mode ( the full screen icon that shows when posting a topic or reply)

Thanks, so how did I get into zen mode? Until a few weeks ago my
Post, Reply & Quote looked exactly like zapjb has described with a
tiny reply strip with tools at the bottom and clicking the crossed
arrows gave a larger reply area but no tools and had to esc to get
back to where the tools were? Oh, wait the crossed arrows is zen
mode, but before the full screen had no tools or the X cancel in
the top left corner, nor the send arrow in the top right and to do
either had to escape out to that screen described before to do either.
I managed to muddle thru for almost 3yrs but thought it was the
worst interface EV-ER.

First, I no longer have Netflix, and this is from the
UK, so I can’t say if this list will work in the US, but
if you use a VPN, changing country to UK might work.
Second. at the bottom of this link is another link to
what is “supposed” to be 27,000 genre codes.
My only concern is IF it works for ANYONE, so please

I have already gotten in trouble with the Mods for feuding with him.
Since then I’ve had him permanently on Ignore, But every time I post,
he posts some insane rant name calling often cursing me, demanding
I do this or that. It really wouldn’t bother me but people in that group
think I’m continuing the feud because they can’t see I have him ignored.
Sometime others quote him and even tho I can then see what he’s saying,
I don’t respond. I don’t want to sound like a cry baby but I don’t want to be
blamed for actions by someone else.
