Each time I’ve been to Officedepot.com recently I’ve been offered a 20% off the highest priced item in my cart if I hang around for a few minutes without checking out. YMMV, of course.

RE: Abandon Ship, Time to cash in those Plenti Points, Macys is out 3/15/18
@mrvietnam said in Abandon Ship, Time to cash in those Plenti Points, Macys is out 3/15/18:
I was about to post this but you beat me to it, It seems like all the Plenti retailers one by one are leaving. I agree it would be a good time to use up those Plenti points before they become worthless when the entire Plenti program closes down, sometime this year is my guess.
Actually Macy’s isn’t officially out until 5/3/18, but you just cannot earn Plenti points at Macy’s anymore starting 3/15/18. My guess is by the middle of this year Plenti will be gone and so will your Plenti points if you don’t use them up.
Nonsense. AmEx won’t let people get screwed if Plenti is discontinued.

Yes, the SPRING Water at $2.99 a case is a good deal (vs the purified for same price).
Also, their canned nuts are good, obviously packaged by someone else. they have almonds, cashews, peanuts, etc.
They also sell some juices (apple juice, etc) that you might be able to use for the kids.
I’m going to try a 12 pack of their diet cola and see how it is. They are $2.50 so not a bad price at 100% back.
They also have dishwashing detergent (the liquid like Dawn) that’s not bad either, huge bottle for about $4.
If you drink diet beverages, the Smart Sense Lemonade is really good.

RE: Chemical Guys MIC_1995 Woolly Mammoth Microfiber Dryer Towel (25 in. x 36 in.) $12.72 @Amazon
These are nice drying towels. Wash then first, however, as they lint like crazy when new.

@mrvietnam said in Buy (2) $50 Sears Gift Card and Save $15 Email by ppdg @ eBay:
I tried to pay with eBay gift cards that I bought some time ago at 20% off, but the system wouldn’t let me. I checked the balances and they had money on them. Do they no longer allow you to buy gift cards with eBay gift cards? This is a good deal as it is, but would have been a stellar deal if I could have got another $17 off the $15 this deal offers (nearly a third off), but no dice.
Correct. You can NOT pay for gift cards with eBay gift cards.

RE: Amazon: Amex Membership Rewards Cardholders: Pay w/ Points, Get $30 off $60 (Valid for Select Accounts)
I tried this on both of my Amazon accounts and got the “ineligible for this promotion” message twice. I went into my payment methods section in both accounts and deleted anything related to AmEx. Used the link above again and one of the two accounts became eligible. YMMV, of course.

RE: Staples $10/$30 coupon for E- Recycling Nov. 12-18
@my4mainecoons said in Staples $10/$30 coupon for E- Recycling Nov. 12-18:
@george2001 Most stores have a plastic “tower” into which folks dump batteries to be recycled. The first year I looked in the tower and found an old iPod. Pulled it out of the recycling tower and took it to the register.
This isn’t for the faint of heart
The tower is about 4" high so I ended up lying it on the ground and shaking it to get the iPod.
Last night I checked to see what they had. Only thing that wasn’t a battery looked like a sound card. I could have used it but decided to hunt for an old usb first. It’s also not for the honest. That is a theft.
