I’m not sure a promo code would work with a Citi Merchant Offer either, although in the past I have found that they do. I bought tons of InKind cred via CMO’s using promos, gateway cashback, etc.

Anyway, this MO worked for me.

I had an 8% cash back offer on Giftcards.com in my Citi Merchant Offers for my Citi Double cc.
Used it with MrRebates.com for an additional 4% cb.
The Citi cb was credited to my account on the 7th day; MrRebates takes longer–I will report back on that one.

Citi says I can do it 2x. For me, the offer expires 9/1. I’ll probably do it again.

UPDATE: Expires tomorrow for me. I went to do it again and the amount had gone down to 1.5%. Nope

There are some discounts on Bounty and other items. Bonuses do say “Offers cannot be doubled or combined with any other offer, savings, coupon or discount.” but it looks like the $10 off works in the cart, at least.

When I get a chance, I’ll try to put something together and see if it works. I can always return what I buy if it doesn’t.
