that s 4.5 gig of data for the year, instead of the usual 1.5 g. They are giving you the normal 1500/1500/1.5 plan plus giving an extra 3 gig data card. Enough if you only use wifi and use data very sparingly. You can always get more data if you are running low. The only phone with considerable data is the google pixel, and it’s expensive.

unless I’m missing it, it doesn’t say how much internal storage the phone has, only that it’s expandable. Looking it up, they only make a 128 or 256 one, so I would assume it has 128gb of storage (for apps, photos, etc)

I can confirm the above 128GB spec. I just “upgraded” from the A16 that I bought last year with unlimited/unlimited/6 GB to this one, as my year is up on April 16th. I was able to self-activate, except I had an issue that required me to call customer service. By default it does appear to have 1.5GB of data with a 3GB card (for seemingly $10 additional). I’ll check my account on the 16th to see if the new plan takes effect as promised, as right now it still shows the previous plan.

I thought I’d post to this thread since my 1st year using Tracfone is about to expire and I’m looking to see if any deals might work for me.

About 1 year ago, I bought an inexpensive Samsung A16 phone from HSN with 1500 minutes of voice and text plus 6GB of data for a year. Actually, I think when I check my account, it shows unlimited talk and text but either is fine for my usage. That amount of data is just fine, as I just checked and I’m down to just over 1GB left. I tend to use Wi-Fi whenever available, especially at home. Does anyone have any links to any “deals” for, I guess, a refill card?

I’m finding:
1500/1500/12GB - $144/yr
1500/1500/48GB - $192/yr
1500/1500/6GB - $77/6 months
1500/1500/24GB - $102/6 months
When I check online, I see the $77 plan, but it shows as “$77/mo” but I can’t believe it’s actually per month and suspect it does mean for 6 months. Tracfone is sending me messages for autorefill, but for some reason, I’ve had issues with autorefills on about every other company I’ve used when it’s time to cancel or change.

SO sorry to ramble, but any thoughts/advice??

If anyone is bored, check out the OD/OM subreddit to see what the employees might be saying. In fact, check out any of the big retailers’ subreddits, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Staples, etc. Life in retail isn’t fun to say the least.

I got it for $15.89, and it indicated the price was good through 8/31. It’s even supposed to be same-day delivery.

I visited my closest store yesterday. They weren’t on the original closing list that I saw published but they now had the “Closing” banner across the front of the store. Inventory was pretty picked over but a line of about 8 to 10 folks waiting to check out. I found nothing of interest to me and I only saw a few categories with the percent discount signs posted. I checked the laundry detergent but the prices were easily beat by this weeks Walgreen’s ad.
