Thanks for the information. I am going to use same log in credentials and apply for AAA. This month end is the last date for promotion. I am not sure if i am going to get both. I am yet to get regular account bonus. Hopefully we will get everything. Are these external accounts added to discovery account shared between accounts?

I am looking for guidance on student college savings account. I need to start doing lot of thing financially (student collage tax saving account, life insurance, mortgage insurance, investing 401k and investing money in bank account). Met a person in Edward Jones. He is asking for 5% commission to start student education saving account. If I open account with 20k, i am going to start with negative 5% lost from day one. I am looking for some alternatives where i won’t loose much money to start saving for student education.

Thanks for the information. We haven’t received any bonus so far. We can transfer back money to other bank open AAA accounts right? I am assuming there is no need to keep waiting with 20k balance until we get bonus.

Hi, We have opened regular Disc acct by funding 20k. Deposit process is complete. Is it ok to move most of this money to some other bank and fund it to open AAA Disc acct.

We have invested in fixed assets in another place which are very difficult to liquidate. No stock investments. We have little bit in 401k, bank accounts and in Home equity. Is it too late to start investing in stock market in terms of age (40’s). We were too cautions. Though With good income and savings we could not make much out of our savings by being over cautions. That is kinda very disappointing when I look back.

Thanks Barker. I used code from their webpage. Application populates old code by default. But I changed it ST17. Message about the promotion showed up in confirmation page while applying for it. Is it ok to apply for AAA savings account and multiple accounts for address?

I would like to know as well. Opened 2 regular accounts. One each for me and spouse. Would like to open 2 AAA accounts. Is it fine to open this many accounts with same address.
