Chicago Tribune “digital” subscription 2-cents/week … YMMV
Got a notice that my Chicago Tribune digital subscription was going to $15.96 per month.
(Was paying $7.96/month)
Called to cancel, was first offered to go back to $7.96/month, declined, then since I was such a valued customer, I was offered 2-cents a week, payable at $1.04 annually.
They really don’t want to lose subscribers!
They also have a free 1-year for “college students”, new subscribers:
