NRL FCU (nrlfcu.org) is advertising a customer appreciation 1 yr CD paying 2.0% APY on their homepage banner. Enrollment available Oct 14 - Oct 21 only. Membership to NRL FCU is open to anyone via free membership to American Consumer Council. See NRL website for signup. Their normal 1 yr CD has a $500 minimum. Couldn’t find funding details for the special CD yet.

It looks like the minimum deposit is $500, with a $10k balance cap, and there is a limit of one Member Appreciation Day (MAD) Certificate per member. There is also some talk that the member needs to have a checking account to get this certificate.

Per DOC:
"…people have successfully gotten the bonus from the Discover savings and this AAA discover savings bonus before as well. I don’t think the order matters, but I’d probably do the regular Discover savings account first and then this AAA account."

I’ve already opened the regular Discover savings account with the code for a bonus, so I’d like to know if anyone here has received both bonuses before I apply for the AAA Discover offer as well.
