Netgear Nighthawk AC2400 Router @ Staples $79.99, reg $199.99, BF deal

Sorry, I put this in the Hot Deals Black Friday category when I wanted it in the Hot Deals category where it would be more likely to be seen, and I don’t know how to change the category. 😞 (Forgiveness being begged in advance for my goof)

Replacing our Netgear R6100 AC12 Router purchased in February of 2014 at a cost of $99.99. There are no reviews on this Netgear Nighthawk AC2400 Dual Band Wireless & Ethernet Router, Black (R7350-100NAS), Staples Item #: 24416745 | Model #: R7350-100NAS though. I have $100 in Staples ink rewards to spend ($60 by the end of this month). Is this a good deal on an up-to-date router? Any discount coupons that would work if I do an online purchase today? Advice appreciated.

Seems like a decent router. Good specs and reviews. It was $90 on black Friday last year, so $70 this year is a good price. The fact that you have Staples rewards to use makes it a much better deal.

Thanks. I did order it and was hoping for some confirmation from the more knowledgeable geeks here that it was a good deal. Our current Netgear router was bought in February of 2014 for $100 and is still working fine, but I wanted a good backup router to keep on hand just in case.

Did you pay $79.99? The current price is $69.99.

Also, the coupon 74806 ($25 off your online order of $100 or more) works with this item if you add $30.01 more to the order.

I couldn’t find a discount coupon in time to place the order since I assumed the Black Friday price was the lowest it would be for a while. Also I paid $79.99, the Black Friday price. I assume I can stop by my Staples and get a credit for the $10 difference? Nothing I can do about not knowing about the coupon in time.
