What is the process for sending a message to someone on Phatwallet?

I think I may have figured it out. You click on the “users” icon at the top of the screen and then click on the user you want to talk to and then click on the three vertical dots on the far right-hand side of the screen and click on “start new chat with xxxxxxx”. Is that correct? So a message on phatwallet is called a “chat”?

You need to click on the person’s avatar then click on the box that appears which brings you to their profile page. Click on circle with three vertical dots and then click start chat

You can access chat several ways:

For a new chat dialog with someone you’ve never chatted with before:

1. Double click on the avatar of the person you want to chat. Click on the 3 vertical white dots inside the blue circle to the right. Click “start new chat with _____.” This adds that person to your chat contacts list. Click on their contact and a start typing. Or…

2. Click on the thought bubble at the top right of every page. That pulls up your chat contacts list. Click “see all chats” and type the username you want to add to your contacts list. Click on their contact and a start typing.

To resume a chat

1. Double click on the avatar of the person you want to chat. Click on the 3 vertical white dots inside the blue circle to the right. Click “continue chat with _____.”

2. Click on the thought bubble at the top right of every page. That pulls up your chat contacts list. Scroll down to the member you want to chat with to open a chat popup window or chose “see all chats” to open up a full-screen chat window. Click on the member’s name whom you wish to resume a chat session with.

3. If you’ve recently been chatting with someone or you have an unread chat from someone, their avatar will appear in a little circle at the bottom right of your PC screen. Just click on it to resume you chat with them.
