Less than $2/bottle. Does anyone know if this can be used for other things other than bikes?

@dangeruss Like what? I can’t imagine there’s anything in it that would be more harmful than regular Simple Green.
I was about to mix up some Simple Green for a spray bottle to deal with bugs on the windshield. This should be safe for cars if its safe for bikes.
The problem is what to do with a case of it.

I dunno can it be used to wash kitchen? Bathroom? I just spent an inordinate amount of time cleaning out the grease from the microwave. Would this be good for that, or could it be harmful when used in a kitchen?
-
@dangeruss Should be fine as long as you rinse it off, as you would with any other cleanser.
There’s a case of Zep degreaser for $23.76, 12 @ 32 oz bottles vs. 24 oz for SG.
The Zep says its ok for kitchen but not the car.Grease in the microwave? You guys don’t use a spatter shield? Oven cleaner is probably the best thing for microwave. Tape over the vents, take it outside so you don’t gas yourself, spray and leave it overnight.
-
@my4mainecoons I was cleaning the vent after 10 years. Couldn’t figure out how to take it off, so it was a bit slow going.

@dangeruss Its environmentally friendly. I use it when I’m cleaning something outdoors because its biodegradable. I’ve used it on siding and on storm windows.
“Simple Green’s products are “non-toxic, biodegradable, non-hazardous, non-flammable, non-corrosive” but still guarantee a clean home, office, or industrial area. … Even Simple Green’s Pet Stain and Odor Remover are okay to use around your pets.”
-
Simple Green stuff is great (I use it most often for wiping off cooking grease in the kitchen). As I understand it you just don’t want to use it on unfinished aluminum surfaces, but as long as you don’t leave it sitting on anything for too long and clean it off well after, I’ve found it to clean anything safely.

I don’t like the smell of Simple Green.
