I am tempted on this, but have only used 100W bulbs in the past.
Can you see well using 60W (equivalent) bulbs? I am not looking for mood lighting, I would prefer something I can thread a needle by, or read by. Any suggestions?
If these are good for that, then in for a pack or two…

I’ve never used 100W, only 40W and 60W, and in my house there are usually multiple lights installed per section. So I’m not sure how comfortable you would be reading with just a single 60W bulb, but if you have space for 2 of them, that would provide you with 120W of light (with only 16W of energy used).
