Free TurboTax Premier for some Fidelity customers (YMMV)

Just like in the previous years, if your account is eligible for the free TurboTax software, you should see a link when you log into your Fidelity account. Both online and download versions are available.

What is the URL to the page where this shows up? Just https://www.fidelity.com/ or is it on an offers page?

It’s toward the bottom of the “summary” page when you login, which should be the same as “Accounts & Trade” -> “Portfolio”.

Offer is not dependent on any specific log on link. Google Fidelity log in, sign in and offer will be at the bottom Right if you qualify. Most reliable qualifier of this offer is >$1M acct. balance.

If you have such offer, but the link takes you to an error page, then try logging off and the re-log on. This offer started this past Monday(12/18).

If you prefer the download version, follow the “free” Fidelity link this, login to your intuit account and than follow this link …

This deal is back for 2018 tax filing season – found it in the lower right corner of my Fidelity account.
If, like me, you’d prefer the download software (rather than doing the online tax prep), click PRODUCTS & PRICING, then select CD/DOWNLOAD and the options should show Premier with State as $0 after discount with a Buy Now button. No credit card required, though I do think they require you to create a TurboTax account if you don’t have one.

If your account is eligible, you should see it on the top-level portfolio page.
