This thread reminds of the crazy threads on FW where people would stock on wiper blades. I never understood it but I loved the excitement of folks hitting Sears and getting 20 sets.

@gremln007 some people do have 4 car families (husband/wife/two HS or college age kids)
It is advised to change blades 2x a year assuming you drive 12K a year.
4 cars x 2 changes per year = 16 wipers. So buying 2 years worth if the price is insane if you have 4 cars might explain 15-20 sets of blades. Also, some people have Rear wipers (on suv’s, wagons) so there’s another wiper you have to account for as well.
