They closed two of the three in next city over from us.

They have closed nearly half the stores in my area in the last year, and something tells me they’re not done yet.

One of my 4 stores just closed.
On Sunday August 27 they notified the folks who were working that the store would be closed in 2 weeks.
On Monday August 28 they notified the pharmacy.
Two weeks notice to people who had worked there for 15+ years.
The last time I was in the store was 4 days prior to its closing. The cashier had just returned from vacation and no one had called her to tell her about the closing. That morning the SM and AM had opened the store at 8AM then at noon they handed their keys to the pharmacist and walked out.
The DM had to do register overrides, etc. I was surprised he knew how to run the register but later learned that he’d previously been a RA store manager.I’m sad that the store is gone but I was able to cash out ~$200 in RA gc on items that had iBotta offers.
