How can one tell if this is a different promotion from the last one? Is there a promotion number?

  • @my4mainecoons Because the last one ended, and this one is a new one.

@Marvomatic when posting deals like this, please include expiration of promo credit, when you get it, and other basic key info what it can be spent on. These credits have a number of conditions that make it much different than an Amazon gift card.

  • @mistercheap Next time I’ll do it, if I find the credit info, and other basic info. I know its not like a gift card, you can only order things sold by Amazon, not 3rd party sellers. I find that most of these are Amazon products.

@my4mainecoons do you know if the expiration date for this offer differs from the one you did? that might help determine if a different offer.

There’s no expiration date for the promo that I can see, just that the credit expires in April. I clicked on the link in the previous promo and it just says “Promotion has ended”. Scrolling through I found that the credit for that promo expires 4-15. Maybe that’s how one knows that it’s a different offer.

I didn’t realize that the credit wasn’t the same as a gc and that it has an expiration date. GTK.

Yes, definitely a different offer if it has a different expiration. And yes, while there’s many things the credit is good on, there are many exclusions too.

@mistercheap I’m trying to use up Amazon gc. Was all set to order pet fountain filters when I saw your PetSmart deal. So I had to use real money at PS instead of Amazon gc. The fact that the credit expires is my problem. I only order from Amazon 3-4x/yr.

Understand, I prefer the Target deal like this, you get a real Target $15GC you can bank indefinitely. I much prefer Amazon deals that take the savings off the products with a code than getting some limited time use ‘credit’ that has all kinds of exclusions.
