If it works, shareholders will be pleased.

I don’t pay full price for fast food so I’m definitely not paying surge pricing.

another sure fire way to piss off customers
So you pull up expecting to pay $3.99 for a burger and while you’re standing in a long line they raise the price to $5.99.
This is equiv. to surge pricing in grocery stores, on there’s a long line at the register, let’s double the price of milk! Really is price gouging, plain and simple.

Honestly, while surge pricing might make sense for ride-sharing where demand can massively fluctuate, applying it to fast food like Wendy’s raises concerns. It could alienate loyal customers and make budgeting for meals unpredictable. I wonder if this will set a trend or backfire due to customer pushback. As Wendy’s experiments with surge-pricing, savvy competitors could turn the tide by leveraging tools like Priceva. With its automated tracking, immediate price change notifications, and a unified interface for metric management, businesses can stay ahead effortlessly. For more insights on harnessing these benefits, especially using AI for strategic repricing.
