I tried various codes including this one. It told me it can’t be used for Stamps, and Gift Cards. I ordered Stamps twice before, with a code. Google is smarter this time! Didn’t order the Stamps.

This may be a stupid question. But do you need to be a Costco member to buy through Google Express?

I don’t see it addressed directly, but Google Express states “separate fees apply when ordering from Costco without a Costco membership” in one place and “we’ve recently updated our order processing policies to match Costco’s in-store membership policies more closely” in another place. Since Costco’s policy is “Non-members will be charged a 5% surcharge over the member’s posted product prices," I suspect the same will be true on Google Express. I’d try putting some random items in your cart and going to the checkout screen to see what fees are added before spending time doing any serious shopping.

If your not a Member of Costco, when you order things through Costco, on Google Express, it asks you if you want to be a Member of Costco. Then It charges you an extra $60 for a Membership to Costco.

I rather buy a discounted membership through deals like the recent $10 off Gold/ $20 off Executive memberships offer, or one of the recurring freebie coupon packet offers from Groupon or LivingSocial.
