4% back/4 points for every $1.00 spent on net purchases made through UberEATS and at restaurants, as defined by merchant category codes, which includes restaurants, fast food restaurants and bars.

3% back/3 points for every $1.00 spent on net purchases on airfare, hotels and vacation home rentals (including travel agencies and home share exchanges), as defined by merchant category codes.

I would do that in a heartbeat if possible.

I called Barclays about converting my Commence card today. They said that I can’t because there is no offer on my account at this time (accounts in good standing are reviewed periodically and various offers may or may not be placed on accounts). If I do become eligible in the future, they may or may not notify me, and there is no way to get yourself “on a list” or indicate interest in converting to the account reviewers (other than placing a note on your account which sounds unlikely to have much impact). They wouldn’t indicate anything I could do to improve my chances. It is basically hit or miss and you have to keep calling or checking your account periodically… or just apply for the new card.
