It is curious that none of the “mobsters, psychics, strip club owners, convicts, drug traffickers, and even a family of Mormons” were prosecuted and no one was held accountable for nearly $12 million.
The other day I went to get gas, and before I could swipe my card, this guy came up to me and said that if I wanted 1/2 price gas, go to his cousin waiting at pump 10. I looked, and a number of people were doing it. I said “thanks, but no thanks.” I’m still wondering what his scam was, but it goes to show how thieves will pull any and everyone into their scams to maximize profits.
