TIL that just because walmart.com shows stock at a store an hour away, and you’re able to order one for store pickup, and get a confirmation, that does not mean that when you get there, you will get your lawnmower.

If you receive a PICKUP CONFIRMATION email (which comes after the ORDER CONFIRMATION email, after item has been “grabbed” by the store and placed in the pickup area), then chances are high that you’ll get what you ordered. If not, you may be able to get a mgr to honor the price on a different model (huge YMMV on that), especially if you drove an hour away to pickup your order.

@thediggler Yep, I’m familiar with how it works. I never got the pickup comfirmation email. I went to the store anyway, because it was late in the day and I know from experience that if they haven’t pulled it yet, they will just pull it for you when you get there.
