Score. Thanks, fivetalents. There is no minimum purchase that I can see on the coupon, so I guess you could buy anything and then see if the 500 fuel points are reflected on your receipt.
EDZiT: just back from Food4Less. The fuel points posted immediately after a 14 cent banana purchase. I got the points on two cards. I will wait to get the points on my other two cards until January, as the fuel points you earn this month expire 1/31/19. Points earned in Hanuary won’t expire until 2/28/19. You have until 1/21/19 to use the coupon.

For those who plan to wait until January to redeem the coupon, I just hope they don’t pull the coupon early due to reaching some unannounced maximum number of redemptions.
I claimed my fuel points today but don’t plan to use them until January 1st so that I can stack it with the quarterly 5% cash back on gas with my Chase Freedom card… I’m also hoping that the fuel points aren’t voided for any reason before then.

So, I redeemed the coupon on a $3 item on December 24th. The receipt confirmed that I earned the fuel points and they also showed
up immediately on my online account.Today my gas warning light came on so I filled my tank for $1.62 a gallon ($1.54 a gallon after the Chase Freedom quarterly 5% cash back on gas).

If you haven’t already, don’t forget to use your fuel points by the 31st (but gas prices are projected to go up soon, so you may not want to wait that long).

Actually it depends when you made the required supermarket purchase as to when these gas credits expire. I have two 50 cent credits that expire 1/31/19 and I have already redeemed both of them. Two of the 50 cent credits don’t expire for me until 2/28/19 because I (purposefully) didn’t make the required supermarket purchase until 1/1/19.
