Light Blue links on White background?!?
-
Is there any way to change the topic links to a darker color on the forum?
The color scheme makes it difficult to read. Thanks!

I was getting light blue inks on a white BG. Somehow the forum software had me using the cerulean skin. I changed it to slate and now I have a gray background and white links. MUCH easier to read.
Now the trouble is - I look at my post above and my own words have double crossed me! They are now medium gray on a dark gray BG. Just as hard to read as the blue on white. Oy Vey!

Thank you for reporting this. @dangeRuss Is there a way to darken the links on the cerulean skin?
Also, the grayed out text of the OP happened, as it should, when the thread was deleted. However, when I restored it, only the title returned to the full black font color while the text in the OP remained gray. That is a separate bug that needs to be addressed.
TIA

@xqa2000 said in Change to darker default font color for readability:
The site uses the default faint light blue front color on white background and is not easy on the eye. If possible use darker blue (more contrast with the background) or use the same font color as Fatwallet.

Simplex skin uses red links

You can try out all of the available skins through the settings on your account. Double click on your avatar, click the 3 vertical dots inside the blue circle, and click “Settings.” There are 18 skins to choose from under “Select a Skin.” Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom after changing your skin. I use Spacelab, which is the skin used by admin to develop the site.

Great! Thanks for your tips. I tried slate and readable skins. Slate is clear but a little dark. Readable is acceptable. I use Readable skin for now.

I like the cyborg skin the most - it’s the coolest.
