Anyone know what will happen to these gift cards in light of Old Navy being split off from the parent GAP brand? I wonder if it will be like Red Lobster when they split from Darden. They took Darden branded gift cards for a certain amount of time after the split before they no longer honored them.

I don’t think Gap itself even knows yet:

“Until the separation, which is expected to occur in 2020, it is business as usual. Nothing is expected to change about our gift cards or online shopping experience prior to the separation. We will provide more information on the two companies and our plans for them to operate independently as we work through the process,” a Gap representative shares with Bustle.

Thanks for the info, fivetslents. The quote was spot on in answering my question. I should have my gift cards long spent by 2020, so this probably won’t even be an issue for me.

No coupon code was necessary. This deal must be dead now. Maybe it was a one day only sale? I ordered mine two days ago, but just received them in my email last night.
