So even 1 foreign coin works?
-
I have a roll of Canadian pennies. Lunch is on me folks!
-
Link to find out if a location is participating.
Front counter only so no drive through.
I have coins left from my last trip to Europe-- before the Euro, lol. Francs, lira, krone, etc.
I had to Google to find out that TLDR means “too long didn’t read”.

Hold onto those. They don’t make pennies any more. They’ll be worth money so long as you don’t open the roll.

I wouldn’t visit a McD locally but for this promo.
The Canadian offering might work this afternoon en route to the Kane County Cougars’ game @ 6pm. (BOGO seats, $1 Beers/Dogs, and free Camo T-shirts). Dealio Thursday in Chicagoland.
-
I haven’t been to a McD’s in ages – and then only for coffee & bathroom while on a road trip.
Their marketing dept. did good this time although I wonder if franchises on the southern border will honor it.I just found leftover 10 cent HKD coins. I think they’re worth 1¢ U.S.
-
My mom and I each got a McFlurry for a Canadian penny. We were the only ones that did the promotion by 3:30 pm and the cashiers didn’t know about it.

Decided on the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich – quite tasty!
Paid a mere 10 Pfennig (cents) leftover from the 90’s, before the Euro replaced Deutsche Marks.
https://www.leftovercurrency.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/10-pfennig-coin-germany-obverse-1-150x150.jpgI hope McDonald’s makes this a standard menu item here in the US!

My kid and I used 1 Canadian penny and 1 Japanese Yen for a Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger and a Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich. Both were quite tasty.
