@dangeruss
Comes up as $6.17 for me (after 5% S&S + 30% Prime savings). The $5.22 price might be if you’ve got enough S&S subscriptions to entitle you to a 15% S&S discount.This is anyway cooking (Olive) oil, not EVOO. I can get a 48oz bottle of Canola oil (which is not Olive oil) for like $1 - $2 at a supermaket, which is fine for my cooking needs.

@thediggler Isn’t Canola oil the evil one that gets processed with harsh chemicals?
-
@dangeruss Never heard that claim before, but I suppose if I search the internet, I can find articles claiming that it’s bad.
EDIT: Mayo Clinic seems to think it’s safe:

Canola oil is made at a processing facility by slightly heating and then crushing the seed.[24] Almost all commercial canola oil is then extracted using hexane solvent[25] which is recovered at the end of processing.
It may be safe, but it’s pretty processed. I would rather use the less processed olive oil.
