@KohlsPowrShopper When you update a thread, please do so without deleting the original thread content. Instead of deleting anything, you can use parentheses or brackets in the title, strikethrough or bold text in the OP, etc. Otherwise you are creating an entirely new thread and destroying the record of the original deal (which others often need to refer to for a variety of reasons). Didn’t change the title or the deal, @fivetalents…was schooled early on by a diligent mod about keeping the integrity of a post for posterity’s sake…

The deal always had an Aug 15 start date and Sep 18 end date; a mod merely moved it to expired deals prematurely, thinking that it expired Aug 18:

Your sleuthing is correct… I saw an expired deal with a future expiration date + your reply adding new deals and incorrectly concluded that you updated the title to reflect the new deals (2 + 2 = 5… it’s the new math).

I was unaware that the thread had been prematurely and incorrectly expired. Manually expiring threads is very tedious, so errors happen from time to time. Whenever that happens, send the expiring moderator a PM or tag them in a reply in the thread (I suspect that was me too but I’ll thank you not to confirm that, TYVM… my ego can take but so much in one day).
