She can do a lot more than that. We use it daily for weather, playing music, alarm clock (that also hooks up to IFTTT to call my phone), setting timers (and putting the kids on timeout).
There are a ton of apps available, although personally, I don’t use many.
There is integration to other smart devices in your home. We got the sensi thermostat, and I can now change the temperature from the comfort of my couch.
