They are also free after rewards at Office Depot this week. Any Duracell battery, any size package.

but OD/OM requires minimum for shipping…so you need to buy stuff you dont want. Tried to get this last night…1 pk aaa and 1 pack aa 16 ct…needed to add stuff for free shipping along with my 20.00 rewards.

Looks like the price on the Sears batteries went up to $1.80 as you said. Sears does offer free in store pickup for online orders if you happen to have a Sears still open in your parts. The Office Depot is a much better deal IMHO.
