new posts in old threads not showing up in recent/unread posts?

I was going to post a KFR code yesterday, searched for the thread, and found out someone had already posted the code. The new post didn’t show up in my recent posts, or unread posts for that matter. The only way to know there was a new code is to actually check the thread, which is hard to find anyway. Is there a way to fix?
