An update about SavingStar offers & ShopRite Price Plus cards

Received the following email from SS. Not sure if this is old news or not, but just posting for SR members:

Dear SavingStar Member,

We’ve noticed that you have a ShopRite Price Plus Club card linked to your SavingStar account. Sometimes you’ll find some of the offers on SavingStar and on ShopRite’s Digital Coupon Center are the same. Per manufacturer rules for these shared offers, you can only redeem the offer once - either through SavingStar or through ShopRite’s Digital Coupon Center, but not both. If you activate an offer on SavingStar, then also load it to your ShopRite Price Plus Club card and purchase the item at ShopRite, you will only receive the savings from ShopRite. You won’t earn a reward through SavingStar.

If you have already loaded an offer to both your ShopRite’s Digital Coupon Center and your SavingStar account, you’ll need to purchase at a participating retailer other than ShopRite to receive your a reward in your SavingStar account.

@CKritiv1 Yes, old news, about a year ago they made the change. However, sometimes you still get credit for both, so be sure to still clip any offers anyway.
