FWIW, I was able to use this offer twice (on separate orders). For the second order, I signed out of my Staples account, went back to Staples.com added the other item to my card, and used the Visa Checkout option without signing into my Staples.com account.
Both orders are showing in my Staples account, and while there is a chance that I will not get rewards for the second order, I’ll take $25 off a $120 item over the Staples rewards any day…

I stacked this with a cash back site and 10% cash back through Visa Offers (available on Marriott Visa card). I also had an Amex Offer for extra MR points; that may be available to more folks that have an AMEX card (you can use AMEX cards through Visa checkout)

Too bad this doesn’t work on gift cards. I miss the AMEX Offer for Staples, was able to buy gift cards with it last year. Also missing the Lowe’s $10/50 AMEX Offer for more cheap gift cards.

I think most of the companies have figured out that the way Amex runs the offers is stupid by letting someone with 50 Authorized users get the deal 50 times and then the offer is filled up and the person with 1 credit card doesn’t get any.

I have about 125.00 in staples gc from buying the VGC offers the past few months. As was stated above, can’t be used online, so i have to go instore. Anyway nothing that good there. Will wait for the paper towels and toilet paper deals in store.

Huh? Staples GCs can be used at staples.com, up to 5 per order.

when I tried last year (it’s the Staples card you get in the mail when buying the 200.00 Visa gift cards) I buy tons of these when they have those deals with the 5% Ink and Amex cards. They still don’t work.

I have used multiple Staples GCs and Staples rebate Visas at staples.com. Have you checked if those cards still have balance? Many of those cards were stolen before they required activation.
