I had a set of Michelins, they were great - until they wore out prematurely. Couldn’t get anyone to do the inspection for me to get me the credit - finally got a dealer to do it for me, and I got a prorated amount back, bought another set of different model Michelins - seem to be holding up OK so far, but they are a bit loud.

@dangeruss Which tire do you have that is loud? My summer tires are Michelin Defenders and they seem quiet to me.
However, my winter tires are studded Hakkapeliitas so almost anything is quieter. When I had AWD my winter tires were Michelin X-Ice. They were great.

Defenders are rated for 80K miles, while the Premiers are only 50k or something. Actually seems like neither Costco nor BJs carries the Premiers anymore, or at least they don’t come up for my car.
