5G SCAM warning

    I was on Virgin Mobile for many years. They switched me to Boost Mobile when they folded. OK, I exclusively use Talk/Text. I have a 4G/LTE phone, but B is claiming that I MUST upgrade. Am certain that is BS and that 4G will work into the next decade. Online support thinks I want to upgrade to 5G. They send emails almost every day insisting that I MUST upgrade. I keep my bill paid at least 3 months in advance so pretty certain they won’t turn off my service. So this is just a warning about their tactics.

  • @fmb1 Even though you don’t need to upgrade your phone, do you have the new Expanded Data Network SIM? If you do not (and still have the old Sprint SIM), then your phone won’t work after 3/31/22 .
