I don’t have this offer. I have $150 for opening a Prime Store card which is a Synchrony Visa. I did the pre qualification “test” and I qualify even though I just got a $125 gc for opening an Amex Prime Business card.
I’d rather have $200. Does anyone have a link?
-
The link shows a $200 offer for the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card but its based on Prime membership status

@ctgolfer Thanks. I didn’t pass the pre-test. Maybe it’s for people who don’t just get the free Prime trial for Prime Day. I might get the Synchrony card for $150.

Purchase $50 Amazon eGC (not reload) with promo code EGCPRIME22, to get $12.50 promo credit.

Purchase $50 Amazon eGC (not reload) with promo code EGCPRIME22, to get a $12.50 promotional credit.
Didn’t work for me. Ordered the $50 gift card with promo code, but did not see any mention of $12.50 credit applied to my account. I placed
a mock order, but still did not see the credit. So I talked to a customer service agent in Jamaica and he issued me a $12.50 courtesy credit to make up for it.I typed in the code in the field for promo codes during checkout and it took the code. Then I saw a banner advertising the deal during checkout, so I clicked on that and it gave me the option to apply the coupon, but when I clicked on APPLY, I got a message saying I already applied for this promotion and to use it, start shopping. So at that time I placed my order, but no $12.50 credit.
I have read in SD that this promotion has been working for some, but not for others.
I have read that it may take 2 days to get the credit, so if I finally receive the credit, I will call back Amazon and have them remove the courtesy credit.
-
I applied the code to my account with the yellow button before adding the card to my cart.
It wouldn’t take the code entered manually at checkout but the checkout page said that I both qualify for the promotion and that I would receive it within 2 days.
-
Got the $12.50 promotional credit with a $50 gift card purchase, but NOT by manually entering that EGCPRIME22 code.
Instead (as a Prime member), I simply went to the main Amazon gift card page, amazon.com/gift-cards/At the top is a banner "PRIME DAY EXCLUSIVE, Get up to 25% off on select gift cards or reloads"
Clicked on the banner, and next page was “Get a $12.50 promo credit with a $50+ Amazon eGift Card”, with a little button “Apply code to your account”
(and it shows that code EGCPRIME22 as what is being applied)
Then bought a $50 Amazon card for email delivery to myself, got it, along with a message that the $12.50 promotional credit was coming in 2 days.
I think it may have been also doable with just a $50 reload to my Amazon account; however, I didn’t see the promotional credit mentioned that way.
YMMV as always
-
I did as @UkeDog and went to the g.c. page and clicked on the header then eGC. $50 was already selected for me. When I got to the cart the Congratulations message was already there even though I had not paid yet. I paid with Discover Cash Back so no money oop.
-
I was manually credited the $12.50 promotional credit yesterday for buying a $60 Amazon gift card, but this morning I see an automatic $12.50 credit was issued. I will call Amazon later today and explain to them the duplicate credits and let them know they can take one of the 12.50 credits back. At the time I called customer service yesterday I did not realize the promotional credit was not instant.

Their support reps should have know the rules and informed you it would be delayed. There is no way I’d contact them to tell them to take money back. They are giving out millions in promo credits. I don’t think they care about your $12.50.

I signed up for the Amex Business Prime card for the $125 bonus.
Now I have an offer for a $50 gc and a free year of Business Prime (a $69 value) if I create an Amazon business account. IDK if Business Prime means no entertainment benefits. Interesting that I could get a year of free shipping just for having signed up for the free 30 day trial.

@mrvietnam IDK. I don’t need Prime so I’m not doing it for a paltry $50 gc.

I just received an email that the $12.50 credt was added to my account. Expires August 28. Only for items sold by Amazon.
