Wahoo! My state is included and we have eaten a lot of chicken.

Since I buy chicken every month and it is one of the staple meats we eat, I put that I purchased chicken for the entire period covered by the class action settlement: January 2009 through December 2020 and that I purchased it every month and bought an average of 3 items a month and spend roughly $20 a month. That would come to $2,640 worth of chicken over the 11 years.

Here is a direct link to the website: https://www.overchargedforchicken.com/

The claim period was open since September 11, 2021. I hope I didn’t already file a claim and forget.

EDIT: I just did a search in the class action thread and see this same class action was posted by ctgolfer about 10 months ago. I may have filed a claim then. I just filed a claim now. I wonder what happens if I file a second claim because I did not remember I already filed a claim 10 months ago? I hope the number and amount of chicken I put 10 months ago are similar to the ones I put now. Of course it is all guessing as it was many years ago. Hope I do not get into trouble for filing two claims. I guess if they ask I could always just explain it to them that it was an honest mistake and explain the circumstances. I wish they wouldn’t leave these class action settlement claim periods open for 15 months as this one has. It is too easy to forget if you have already filed a claim or not.

This thread actually belongs in the class action forum. I will move it there now.

@mrvietnam 3 items =$20? Wow. You must be buying fancy birds. I buy it when it’s on sale e.g. 97¢/lb last week. Might buy 30 lbs. when it’s on sale so $30.

It was all a guess. I guess prices last decade were cheaper than they are today.
