The heated blanket sounds tempting. Does anyone have one and can report on how well it works and how much of a drain on the vehicle battery it is?

@dionaea I had a heated back rest. Plugged into the cigarette lighter. It didn’t last very long. It wasn’t a drain on the battery and I liked it while it lasted. I also had one of the travel mugs that plugs into the cigarette lighter. It sparked. Got very hot. Stopped using it.
I carry a couple of fleece blankets and a space blanket.

Thanks for the feedback. I carry blankets in the car too. I’ve seen the heated back rest on Amazon but wasn’t tempted. A heated blanket I could put over my legs until the car warms up enough would be nice, but I think I’ll skip this one.

I’ve thought about it but not sure how it would work w/ manual transmission. I’d have to leave the car in Neutral I guess.
