As you pointed out by putting the cereal size, the boxes are on the small side, but 99 cents is a good deal.

Today is the day to get your cereal.
My brother said he also had a $1/2 GM cereals coupon loaded, so he ended up getting his 5 boxes of cereal for only $3.95.

I couldn’t find the GM coupon on my account, but there is a similar $1/2 Fiber One coupon:
“Save $1.00 on 2 Fiber One products when you buy TWO (2) BOXES any flavor Fiber One™ Chewy Bars, Fiber One™ 90 Calorie Products (Bars or Brownies), Fiber One™ Protein Chewy Bars, Fiber One™ Streusel Bars, Fiber One™ Cheesecake Bars, Fiber One™ Cookies, Fiber One™ Layered Chewy Bars, Fiber One™ Protein Nut Bars, Fiber One™ Brownie Bites, Fiber One™ Cookie Bites, Fiber One™ Mini Bars, OR Fiber One™ Supreme Brownies, any size.”

@fivetalents
The 5x coupon that is making the cereal 99 cents a box is a STORE coupon (SC), so if you combine the .75/2 Q found in the 2/11 SS and $1/3 Q found in the 2/25 SS, you cab get 5 boxes today at Kroger for only $3.20, or .64 a box. I can confirm it works as I tried it myself. If the cashier refuses to scan because of the 5x deal, find a store with a SCO.

Thanks MrV. I know Kroget digital coupons aren’t supposed to stack, but they sometimes do for me, especially on multiples. That’s what I thought your brother did. Your SS coupon deal is even better and makes up for the coupon being limited to the 11oz to 12oz sizes.

If the digital coupon is a manufacturer coupon it would not have stacked, but because it is a store coupon then their policy allows one store and one manufacturer coupon per item.

Yes, I know. I initially thought you meant your brother found a glitch with 2 digital coupons that stacked (like I find once in a blue moon and to the surprise of some cashiers). Your SS print coupon stacking deal is better anyway.

Actually for my brother two digital coupons did stack and it was no glitch: one store 5x coupon and one $1/2 man Q that evidently is now NLA. He must have saved it to his account sometime earlier. I think at anytime a store and a manufacturer digital coupon will stack. The trouble is knowing what kind of coupon any given digital coupon is, store or manufacturer, but as you alluded to, they are almost always manufacturer coupons. Luckily I have more than one Kroger account in the family so I can do these deals once on one account to see how the coupons print on the receipt (SC or MC) then I can do the deal again with paper coupons if they are store coupons. I like these 5x Saturday deals. Even though they are not free, you can get some nice items for cheap and you can get 5 while freebies you only get one and usually they are less expensive items.

Exactly! It only happens to me (unintentionally) once in a blue moon, and I’m never paying enough attention to figure out the patterns/clues, other than it is more likely to happen when at least one coupon requires multiple items. I’ve always wondered if it happened because any of the stacked coupons were store coupons, now I’ll know to look at my receipt next time.

Very clever.
