Oh great!! I just finished a container of said items a couple days ago. First I wonder how long before symptoms appear and then figure/hope it wasn’t from Caito of Indianapolis when I bought it in New Mexico at Albertsons. Another reason I should listen to my inner cheap self and buy the whole melon and cut it up instead of paying more for pre-cut pieces.

From what I’ve seen online, it takes roughly 2 to 72 hours for symptoms to appear, then the illness lasts 4 to 7 days. Symptoms may include fever, stomache cramps, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), vomitting, and nausea.
Sounds like you have another day or so to know whether you’re in the clear.
ETA: On the positive side, everyone who was infected is reportedly recovering well.

@rick505 Good luck!!

The outbreak is spreading and the number states impacted grown to 23 or more.
“The FDA has posted a list of stores and states where recalled pre-cut watermelon, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, and fruit medley products were sold. Additional stores and locations may be added as FDA receives more information.”

So, you can now look up the address of a specific store in your state to see if you may have purchased contaminated pre-cut fruit. Fruit that was cut up in-store/by the store itself from whole fruits is not included in the recall.
