100% SYWR points back on Roadhandler tires (over 12 mos) + $50 back on $50 @ Sears.com
Roadhandler tires are giving 100% points back through 9/1, but it is a 12-month installment deal. However, the deal stacks with the sitewide $50 back on $50 offer if you haven’t done that yet, making for “moneymaker” tires.

@mistercheap Well I was feeling lucky and tried to order 4 tires for in-store installation, applying a $35-off-300 coupon and also using $25 in points. Everything looked hunky-dory in checkout, right down to the Review Order page, but hitting Place Order just returns me back to the pre-checkout cart.
Repeatable, and with never any error messages. Weird! Anybody else run into this?
Oh well, the 17-year old car they’re for might not make it to the end of the 12-mo SYWR points payout anyway…

Which browser are you using? I get checkout problems with Firefox, but usually not in Chrome. The other issue could be they’re out of stock.

@sportsfan64 Funny you should ask–I tried both browsers, and even cleared cookies. It’s too much to ask from Sears I know, but I’d expect an “insufficient quantity available” message or similar if they didn’t have the 4 that I ordered.
UPDATE: It appears that all tires have to be available for same day in-store pickup for an order to process (disregard that shipping-to-store biz that Sears shows, e.g. available by Sept 5, etc.). Sears left hand, meet Sears right hand.

I have had similar problems applying promotions when ordering Sears.com tires for delivery to a store.
FWIW, I was able to phone the customer service call center. They placed the order for me, the promo was applied and the tires were delivered when they said they would be. YMMV!
