Maybe the person on SD handed over their Rewards first?
It was an online transaction, and the $40 reward was applied before the coupon. I don’t know if the order makes any difference for online transaction.

A post on SD seems to suggest that the reward is now deducted before determining the purchase requirement for a coupon. For example, $70 purchase - $40 reward = $30, so a $30 off $60 coupon cannot be used. I cannot test if this true because my reward coupon no longer works online.

F Y I and YMMV…Chose the iRCheck option, 2 banks and 1 credit union would not accept iRCheck for deposit and could not be cashed.
Remote deposit should be the best method with it.

The day has come. As a premier member, my rewards coupon no longer works online.

RE: Is Staples Rewards no Longer Deducting Coupon Value?posted in Deal Discussion
@my4mainecoons said in Is Staples Rewards no Longer Deducting Coupon Value?:
Kiosk receipt doesn’t have the coupon on it so I should be able to get the whole $16 rebate. (Maximum rebate is $16.) The packing list won’t have the coupon either.
Looking at my last kiosk order, the packing list does have the coupon total under “coupon credit”. The kiosk “customer copy” doesn’t look like a receipt.

@mrvietnam Look at the purchase details. The recycle section is not reliable.

I have seen that behavior for kiosk orders, but don’t count on it working that way for all transactions.

Does Staples take non-virgin cartridges? What about generics? In my experience, they take anything.
