Thanks for the update @chryslerguy. It’s sad that eBay is suppressing negative feedback but at least you only ended up paying what you expected to for the 1 phone you received. I think they kept making frequent changes to the offer and forgot to/was in the process of modifying the discount in the cart at the precise moment you ordered. It wouldn’t have hurt Tracfone to make a one time concession and credit you 50% off once the confusion was explained and your product page at the time of the order was reviewed.

I agree with you 100%… Thank you for all your help & input. To iterate, most eBay sellers I’ve dealt with have been great and have tried to solve any issues… I only want to be fair and get what I’ve paid for.

Be advised that this seller is a real scumbag, I finally received 50% back from Paypal for not getting what I paid for. My credit card company followed up, somehow they had changed my claim to an unauthorized charge, but I explained again what had happened and they closed my claim to my satisfaction.

Shame on eBay, I posted a negative feedback and it has not shown up. Apparently they coddle their sellers?.. My feedback should not be muted, it is the only way to warn other buyers about bad sellers conducting absolute FRAUD.

This experience has been such an aggravating waste of my time… makes me want to rethink buying on eBay… I have walked away from one large purchase already in favor of local businesses.

Correct… reg price looks to be $50/gallon… I now see the 40% sale also applies to samples, I should have stopped in for a sample today when I drove by the store… one gallon and a sample size for the trim would paint my Tuff shed!
