@intel Sometimes banks only offer online accounts to out-of-state depositors
I guess they can pay their in-state customers much lower rates.

I opened an account, but the issue I have now is they only allow one (1) external bank link, so I have a funding issue.

UFB Direct is playing games again.
If you currently have the UFB Direct Saving account (old), it still pays only 1.81%
The (new) UFB Direct Rewards Saving account now pays 2.21%
You have to ask them to convert “Savings” to "Reward Savings"
Account numbers stay the same, but you get new higher rate,UFB, along with CIT and Popular Direct, are known for creating
"new" accounts and leaving “old” accounts at the old lower rate.
