Thanks for posting. Was hoping they do this again, and was holding onto my $10 Amex supermarket offer for this.

RE: Starbucks - Build any Hot Coffee/Espresso drink for 50 Stars
Nice find!
A Cafe Misto is a 50-star beverage (50/50 mix of coffee and steamed milk). Adding 2 or 3 shots to that would make it a latte with a little regular coffee thrown in.
Probably a good way to use fewer stars while it lasts…

@high-technology i placed the order from Amazon as you did after i noticed the price in CVS - $18.99 for the lower count. Normally the up to price on the rebate is the highest retail price. That tells me how high CVS marks up the products they sell.
I’ve pretty much given up on CVS. I used to play the game with the Extracare Bucks, but realized that they are so much more expensive than everywhere else (Shop Rite supermarket undercuts their prices on nearly everything, WalMart (of course), as does Target, not to mention Costco, etc.).
Worse than their somewhat abusive pricing, it’s gotten so hard to find drugs and toiletries at CVS, since they devote so much of their shelf space to other items unrelated to their core pharmacy business.

RE: Chamberlain/Liftmaster MyQ 888LM Control Panel - Free
They do require cc but don’t appear to have submitted an authorization on mine for the replacement. It just seems that they programmed to assume some payment will be due so they check the card number for validity (there are some checksums in the various card numbers they can test without submitting for authorization).

RE: T-Mobile Tuesday (02/12): $4 Alita Battle Angel movie ticket, Shell 10cents off per gallon, Taco Bell Free Taco, Pizza Hut: $7.99 2 Topping Large + Free Cinnabon Mini Roll
Oh boy, tacos, pizza with a mini Cinnabon for dessert — maybe someone will try to hit all in the same day and then go to Shell on the way home. That leads to the question of whether the car or the driver will have more gas?
No matter what, you don’t want to be sitting in a movie theater after all of that…

RE: Chamberlain/Liftmaster MyQ 888LM Control Panel - Free
These are replacements for the door control units that came with these openers (think replacement button inside the garage). I have 3 of these openers, and while mine have been okay, many people have had the control panel burn out and/or randomly open the door.
This can replace the wall controller for the Liftmaster/Chamberlain openers made in the last 20 years or so (since 1998 with red/purple “learn” button on the opener itself). As far as I know, its only compatible with these openers, and not with any other brands/models…

I looked online and this doesn’t seem to be carried in many of my local stores, so rather than driving around looking for it, I found that Amazon has the 28-pack for $18.99 with a “clippable” $3.00 coupon available, bringing the net price for the 28-pack to $15.99 (which is the max on the rebate).
You could also save 5% if you do a S&S, but given there is no real savings as the rebate will be reduced, I made sure to just buy it once…
These are identical (in the active ingredients) to Mucinex DM – just the cough and mucus control. and nothing else. That’s a good thing, since most OTC cold meds now contain all sorts of stuff that isn’t necessary for a cough…
FWIW, I mainly buy the Costco or Walmart store brand of cold meds, but I would buy a box of these to keep around since so many times my teens have just a cough. The single tablet/12 hour dosing also makes it much more convenient to not have to carry/remember to take something every 4 hours…

RE: Mint Mobile: 3-Mo. Unlimited Talk/Text/8GB LTE Plan $20 A/C + Free Shipping
@sonofzeus said in Mint Mobile: 3-Mo. Unlimited Talk/Text/8GB LTE Plan $20 A/C + Free Shipping:
I have this Mint SIM kit in hand. (unactivated) Can I get new service at the intro rate described above?
Not sure – the only way to see is if you go to their web site, click Activate on the top right side, then enter the activation code. Then see if there is a place to pick the 3 month intro plan and a place to enter the coupon code somewhere in the process.
If there is, enter the coupon code and see if it brings the total down to $20 + fees (likely $25 or so all-in).
If not, then it’s worth going through ebates, ordering a new plan/kit with the coupon code and it will bring the total down by $10 but you’ll have to wait a few days for a new SIM kit to arrive…
